rooted in tradition

The tradition of weaving speaks across cultures and time. I first started weaving wax wire at my coffee table, and the rhythm of it became a signature Kefi technique. Each ring begins with wax wire woven into its own distinctive form, then cast in precious metal by a family-run casting house in New York City's Diamond District. I refine the metal at my jewelry bench before the gemstone is set, bringing together the woven texture and natural stone.

Made for the one who appreciates the contrast between natural stones and intricate metalwork, each sculptural woven band holds a single gemstone, either black spinel or aqua amazonite. Choose from four distinct designs: Classic Woven, Woven Wrap, Perched, and Twist.

The natural black spinel is sourced from Greece and custom cut for Kefi. The amazonite is hand cut by a lapidary in New York City's Diamond District.
