Kefi jewelry is made to be worn, but a little care goes a long way.

For gold vermeil pieces:
The 14k gold layer is resilient, but prolonged water exposure and friction can wear it down over time. While Kefi loves to make a splash, I suggest removing your jewelry before swimming, showering, and exercising to extend the life of the gold finish. Avoid direct contact with lotion, perfume, and harsh chemicals. After wearing, gently wipe with a soft cloth to lift away oils and dirt.

For sterling silver pieces:
Sterling silver is durable and can handle daily life, including water. If you go long stretches of time between wear, the silver may need polishing. Use the included polishing cloth to restore brightness whenever needed. To clean between the grooves of woven pieces, gently scrub with a soft toothbrush and toothpaste, then rinse and let dry completely.

For oxidized sterling silver pieces:
Oxidized silver is intentionally darkened to create depth and contrast. Over time, the oxidation may lighten with wear, particularly on high points and edges. This is natural and part of the piece's evolution. I suggest removing your jewelry before swimming, showering, and exercising to extend the life of the deep oxidation. Avoiding direct contact with lotion, perfume, and harsh chemicals will extend the life of the deep color as well. Polishing cloths and silver cleaners will remove the oxidized surface. Storage:
For best results, store each piece individually in an airtight bag or zip-lock. This slows tarnishing and prevents scratching. I know that's not how everyday jewelry tends to live, but it is the surest way to keep your jewelry looking its best.

Diamonds used in Kefi pieces are lab-grown. They are chemically, physically, and optically identical to mined diamonds, offering the same brilliance and durability with a lighter environmental footprint.

Gemstones are natural unless otherwise noted. Each stone is hand-selected for color, clarity, and character.
