from the beach to the bench
This ear cuff is formed from a sea urchin shell I found while walking the beach. I carried it home to New York City, where a family-run casting house in the Diamond District made a mold so it could be cast in precious metal. At my jewelry bench, I refined the metal form into an ear cuff made to be worn and treasured for a lifetime.
The texture catches light in unique ways, inviting a closer look. Made for the one who likes to wear something a little unexpected, this sculptural ear cuff adds an interesting detail to your ear without another piercing, whether worn alone or paired with your favorite earrings.
Named for Galatea, who appears in Greek mythology as a sea-born figure, shaped by water and tide. This ear cuff carries that same sense of discovery and transformation.
