from the beach to the bench
The jackets in this set are formed from a sea urchin shell I found while walking the beach. I carried it home to New York City, where a family-run casting house in the Diamond District made a mold so it could be cast in precious metal. At my jewelry bench, I refined the metal forms into earring jackets made to be worn and treasured for a lifetime.
The texture catches light in unique ways, inviting a closer look. Made for the one who enjoys finding new ways to wear her jewelry, this interchangeable earring jacket set includes black spinel studs that can be worn alone or paired with the sculptural jackets, giving you several ways to make the look your own.
Named for Ceto (SEE-toh), who appears in Greek mythology as the primordial goddess of the sea, mother of sea monsters and marine wonders. This set carries that same sense of the ocean's depth and the beauty found within it.
