from the beach to the bench
This necklace is formed from a sea urchin shell I found while walking the beach. I carried it home to New York City, where a family-run casting house in the Diamond District made a mold so it could be cast in precious metal. At my jewelry bench, I refined the metal form into a necklace made to be worn and treasured for a lifetime.
The texture catches light in unique ways, inviting a closer look. Made for the one who appreciates jewelry that feels like a discovery, this sculptural sea urchin necklace brings an interesting detail to an open neckline or a simple knit.
Named for Thalassa, the primordial goddess who embodies the sea itself. This necklace carries that same sense of origin and natural beauty.
